OTTAWA – Due to Ontario’s current state of health and public health recommendations across the province, the Central Canada Hockey League has announced a suspension from all games until 2022.

The announcement was made on the league’s website on Friday.

In the statement, the league said the decision was also made to limit contact and act as a kill switch during the holiday season.

The CCHL has said with great caution, and in the best interest of the well-being of its players, staff, volunteers and supporters, that it is postponing the balance matches set for the remainder of 2021 until in March 2022.

According to the league, a fully revised version of the remaining full schedule will be available next week on www.thecchl.ca and on its various social media platforms.

“In consultation with our U18 AAA league executive, given the high rate of affiliate interaction during junior training, a similar rescheduling of the last two dates in 2021 will be part of the process and matches inserted at the end of the season. regular season, ”the statement reads.
