TORONTO – Navneet Dhaliwal will captain Canada in qualifying for the ICC T20 Men’s World Cup in Antigua November 7-15. Canadian men will be joined by Argentina, Bahamas, Belize, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Panama and the United States

TORONTO – Navneet Dhaliwal will captain Canada in the qualifying for the Americas at the ICC T20 Men’s World Cup in Antigua November 7-15.

The Canadian men will be joined by Argentina, Bahamas, Belize, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Panama and the United States in the round robin which will send two teams to the two eight-country World Cup qualifiers. ICC Men’s World T20 2022 to be played in Australia next November.

The Canadian roster includes versatile Rayyan Pathan who recently played in Nepal’s T20 Everest Premier League. Pathan also claimed eight wickets, with his medium-paced bowling alley, and had the highest score of 46 at the 2019 West Indies Colonial Medical Life Super50 Cricket tournament in St. Kitts.

The Canadian team leaves for Antigua on Sunday.
