Team USA Hockey announces men’s and women’s tournament schedules – NBC Chicago



The 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing are just over four months away, and on Monday Team USA announced its schedules for the men’s and women’s hockey tournaments at the Games.

The men’s team, which lost in the quarter-finals to the Czech Republic in Pyeongchang, will field a squad including players from the National Hockey League for the first time since the Sochi Games in 2014.

The women’s team, which won gold in a 3-2 victory over Canada, will look to defend their title in China next winter, with their tournament starting Feb. 3, according to USA Hockey.

Here is the women’s program:

February 3: vs. Finland 7:10 a.m. central time

February 5: vs Russian Olympic Committee 7:10 a.m.

February 6: vs Switzerland 7:10 a.m.

February 7: c. Canada 10:10 p.m.

The quarterfinal round of the women’s tournament kicks off on February 11, with the semi-finals scheduled for February 14. The bronze medal game will be on February 16 and the gold medal game will be on February 17.

Here is the calendar for the men’s team:

February 10: vs. China at 7:10 a.m. Central Time

February 11: c. Canada 10:10 p.m.

February 13: vs. Germany at 7:10 a.m.

The qualifying heats will begin on February 15 and the quarter-finals will take place on February 16. The semi-finals are on February 18, with the bronze medal game on February 19 and the gold medal game on February 20.
